Rick Collett began his business in Cobb County, Georgia June of 1986, he grew his interests into what Collett Country store is today. The store started out on the corner of Macland and New Macland road. In 2003 he decided to merge his store with the already established Johnny’s BBQ in downtown Powder Springs and this created the unique combination we see today of bullets, boots, and BBQ. The original building built in 1978 is still the location we use and love today it is a true local favorite. People come from all around to see its charm and they love bringing their family to the same place they would come to as kids.
Today our mission is to continue to serve the community we’re in as a family place they trust. We strive to bring a family friendly place to eat and shop. We are your one stop place and we have something for everybody! Daily operations are run by Rick, his son Chas with his wife Nancy, and his daughter Savannah. We have an amazing team here at Collett Country Store and none of this would be possible without our employees who show up every day.
